In 1996, Oyster Gatherer was the first painting by Tom Haas to appear at the prestigious Mountain Oyster Club’s (27th) Annual Contemporary Western Art Show & Sale, Tucson, Arizona. Tom Haas has been an Honorary Artist Life Member of the Mountain Oyster Club since 1998.
